Metal and silk button was made by Whitehead & Hoag of Newark, New Jersey. The white silk ribbon has gold print reading "NOTIFICATION / OF THE / HONORABLE / WARREN G. HARDING / MARION, OHIO / July 22, 1921." At the top of the ribbon is a metal and celluloid pin-back button reading "COMMITTEE / ON ARRANGEMENTS" in blue. Hanging from the ribbon is a round metal frame with a black-and-white photograph of Warren G. Harding in the center.
